VERSION 03, AUG-17-92:
Klingons also shoot phasers.
Used new optimizing compiler and MASM 6.00 for faster, more compact code.
Added second explosion pattern.
Two sounds can play simultaneously.
Sound is initially turned off on slow computers.
Flash damage bargraphs and display GREEN condition at beginning of level.
Fast beep and yellow display when energy or shields are very low.
Improved condition and 7-segment displays (widen and flashing).
Fixed bug that allowed a lock up at beginning of a level.
Swapped quadrant coordinates to traditional order: Y, X.
Fixed small bug in epilogue where hyphen broke a word in the wrong place.
Command-line switch to start at any level.
VERSION 02, JUN-19-92:
Added graphic images:
Seven-segment numeric displays. (Inverse video for monochrome.)
Pinwheel galaxy and planet.
Put reticle on bar graphs.
Fixed spelling errors (regrettably, galactic).
Fade all explosion fragments.
VERSION 01, JUN-08-92:
Fixed problem where some video adapters didn't display the high intensity
background colors. (Some BIOSes reset the blink/high-intensity bit when
loading a font.)
Added more dilithium crystals, especially at the higher levels where
they're need most.
Increased code speed in many small ways.
Improved sound quality slightly by re-enabling interrupts in the keyboard
interrupt handler.
